As a professional real estate photographer, my goal is to make even the ugliest home look appealing.
Without attractive pictures, potential buyers are much less likely to go see your house.
- Quality counts. Ask your agent to see pictures of his/her other listings. Some realty companies offer professional photographic services at no additional cost.
- Clean up the clutter. Put away fridge magnets, kid's toys, dog's bowls, small electric appliances (ex. coffee maker), garbage cans, water hoes and other distractions. Remove massage chairs from the living room or master bedroom and cars from the driveway.
- Lights ON. Make sure all light bulbs around your home are in working conditions. This is extremely important at the time of interior shots.
- In South Florida, make your property available for shooting during morning hours, when the natural light is at its best and right before sunset if you want to showcase sunset views.
